Cantamus

The church has hosted many concerts over the past few years, and is considered a very suitable and attractive venue due to its size (seating up to 120), the excellent small organ and very good acoustics. It also has the advantage of a side room (the museum) where refreshments can be served either in the interval or at the end of the performance.

The London Concert Choir came a few years ago with great success, and local choirs such as Parnham Voices and Lyme Bay Chorale have sung with us. Recently we have welcomed regular visits from Cantamus. Their Advent concert in December 2015 drew 88 people, and we have invited them to return each year.

NEXT CONCERT
Saturday 3rd December at 7 pm at Church of Our Lady, Chideock
Cantamus are giving a Concert ‘All So Still’, songs and carols for the beautiful season of Advent. Tickets are £8 in advance from 01308 488348 or on the door, and will include seasonal refreshments in the interval. See also www.cantamus-dorset.org.on Thursday, 11th December at 7 pm.

They will also be putting on a Lenten concert with us in March 2015.
